The Helm Compact 3 Footprint provides additional protection by sitting under the groundsheet and porch area.
A footprint is configured to fit under each tent to provide added protection.
Wild Country inner tent groundsheets will provide excellent quality that will out perform any similar groundsheet fabric. However, for additional protection against sharp objects, we recommend the use of a groundsheet protector or footprint. Wild Country footprints are sized to fit under each models flysheet and attach to the tent pole feet using shock cord loops. Footprints should be used with the shiny coated fabric side facing upwards.
