The LEKI Makalu FX Carbon (SS26) is a premium folding trekking pole pair built for mountain hiking, trekking and long days where low weight, compact carry and fast adjustments matter. The full Carbon (PRC 1000) construction keeps the feel responsive on climbs and stable on technical descents, while the five-section folding design packs down to 41 cm for easy rucksack carry and travel.
For control on steep ground, the Aergon Air grip is designed around a lightweight hollow-core build with large support surfaces, a fully rubberised grip head for downhill control, and a grip extension for quick hand-position changes. The ELD folding system deploys quickly with a push-button release, and Speed Lock 2 plus enables fast, secure length adjustment from 110–130 cm. Finished with Trekking Basket 2.0 and a Flex Tip (Short), it’s built for confident pole plants across mixed trails and mountain terrain.
